Roofing jobs are usually priced by the square metre, plus extras like flashing, gutters and fascia. List the roof area, the material (IBR sheeting, concrete tiles, clay tiles, waterproofing), and whether removal and disposal of the old roof is included. Itemising it avoids disputes when a customer compares quotes.
Older roofs may contain asbestos sheeting. If you suspect it, removal needs specialist handling and should be quoted and handled separately, rather than being folded into a standard re-roof price. Saying so on the quote protects you and shows the customer you take it seriously.
